The Alpha Kappa Chapter Of Delta Sigma Pi

In the Spring of 1907, four students in the School of Commerce,  Accounts and Finance at New York University shared a common path to their homes following classes. Through this relationship, they became motivated by the same forces that have caused other fraternities to organize, namely common goals and the desire to pursue these goals together. Thus,  Delta Sigma Pi was created on November 7, 1907 by Alexander Frank Makay, Alfred Moysello, Henry Albert Tienken and Harold Valentine Jacobs.

Since then more than 250 chapters have been established and over 216,000 brothers have been initiated. The first central office was established in the Fall of 1926 to help support the growth of the Delta Sigma Pi experience, located in a Chicago, Illinois office building. Today it is located in Oxford, Ohio where it has been over 40 years.

Through hard work, commitment and dedication, the Brothers of Delta Sigma Pi have kept alive the honor and prestige associated with our fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi continues to expand each year, maintaining its tradition, excellence and influence in the world of business.
